Review: Lush Colour Supplement in Jackie Oates

I just posted this on beautylish and thought I would post it here as well :)

For pale ladies like myself who love NARS Siberia colour and have a hard time finding their colour match you NEED to check this stuff out! You can mix it with your moisturizer to make a tint or (what I do) apply immediately after your moisturizer before it has completely dried. It gives such a natural finish to the skin and like it says helps tone down redness. If you have a lot to cover up you will need a separate concealer but to give an overall even look to your skin this is such a great bargain! It's only $16 CAD for .07oz and is an excellent alternative to NARS Sheer Glow/Matte in Siberia.
Depending on what moisturizer you pair it with will determine the finish. I've been using it over Kiehls Ultra Facial moisturizer which is quite light and I get a satin finish, almost matte look to my face. I always dust with a bit of loose powder but if you don't have super oily skin it's not necessary.

My brows

This is me sans makeup and pretty much how my brows are always shaped. Any opinions? I usually fill them in with Benefit's Brow Zings which makes them a little fuller but not by much. I just sent an email to Mync Brow Bar to find out about getting them shaped. I can't handle walking around with unruly and unkempt brows ahh!

The Perfect Brows

What is your idea of the perfect brow? Mine are really full ones like Lucy Hale in the picture below.

I've been having my brows waxed on a regular basis for the past 10+ years and I'm never 100% satisfied...they always end up way thinner than I would hope.

There's a brow and lash bar here in Toronto called Mync that I'm thinking of going to for shaping. They recommend not touching your brows for at least 3 weeks prior to your appointment. I'll write about it if I go, let's see if I can be diligent enough and give my tweezers a break or not.

I've just passed my 5th day on the Master Cleanse so I'm halfway done. I think I might treat myself to a little Sephora shopping when I'm done!

The Master Cleanse

I started the Master Cleanse today, also known as the Lemonade Diet. I've done it in the past and although the first couple of days are tough the outcome is worth it! It's basically a detox for your body to eliminate toxins and waste build up. I have found in the past it helped me kick my caffeine addiction, though I can't really say I want to live without coffee at this moment and time haha. My main reason for doing this is to get back into healthier eating! Beauty from the inside out :)

You can read more about the cleanse at mastercleanse.org and download a pdf of the original book here.

Have you done the cleanse before?

Wish me luck, I'll be doing this for the next 10 days!
